Summer Dates 2016
June 22 2016 Lunenburg, Nova Scotia

Hi there – so, summer 2016 has officially begun.  For most of us Canadians, that is a welcome change.  For some in our vast country, I’m sure it’s felt like summer has been around for a couple months so far.

Between trips to the golf course I’ll be on the road with the Pikes in a variety of locales.

Please see www.thenorthernpikes.com/gigs/ for more details.

Last week Kane & Potvin performed in Sarnia Ontario for the first time.  We played Paddy Flaherty’s.  I want to thank Angela for her wonderful hospitality.  Unfortunately, we had a bit of an accident that night that prevented us from completing the show.

We finished “Going Home”, passing the half way point of our set, and as I’ve done thousands of times in my life, I changed guitars.  However, I’d seemed to forget how low the ceiling was…

It was messy…

And took some time to finally stop bleeding…

I’m not 100% certain but I think this may have been the only time in my career where a set had to be stopped.  We’ve abbreviated live sets before for a variety of reasons but never ended one suddenly because of profuse bleeding...

Kane & Potvin are looking forward to wrapping up our Pledge Music campaign.  We are presently working on album art and hope to have CD’s and vinyl on route to our pledgers by the end of the summer..  We’ve also secured a distribution deal for the album and are looking towards a fall 2016 release.

Thx for checking in – take care.  And watch yer head...

B.
